My name is Kirsten and I’m a sport and portrait photographer based in Auckland, New Zealand. I am passionate about photographing people, and specialise in all sports where people are prominent. I’ve won several sports photography awards and have had work published in New Zealand Motorbike publications on several occasions. For the last 3 years I have been one of 2 official photographers for the New Zealand Superbike Championships. I’ve shot at The MotoGP and this year in addition to shooting the NZSBK championships I will be shooting somewhere else super exciting, details to be released soon. For the NZSBK this season I have been lucky enough to be joined by my brother Lucas Sudbury who like me is passionate about motorsport, he loves shooting video and to date has made quite a few awesome videos. Lucas is an online video editor by trade so is very qualified for the job. Check out some of his awesome videos here.

About Mad Love Media
Before I became a full-time photographer I was a video editor working in TV. I have always made videos and taken photos, whether of my kids, my husband racing, my friends, my friend's kids anything really that took my fancy. When I formed Mad love Media I didn't want to limit myself to just photography, I wanted to be open to be able to film and edit too if I wanted. That is where 'Media' came from. As it goes I actually prefer taking photos, which has worked out nicely now because Lucas loves filming and editing videos. You could say we are the perfect team.
The name 'Mad Love' came from my obsession with the word 'love' I love what it means, I love what it stands for and I love love hearts! I feel like mad love means passion which shows up in many things, and especially in all that I love to photograph: Sport, weddings, families, kids, events etc... And so Mad Love Media was born!
